Every year we have a variety of annual events intended to strengthen and bring our community closer together. We have events for kids, adults, and families! Learn more about our upcoming events below.

Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy Prayer Breakfast

Each year, YMCA of Central Florida community members and leaders join together to celebrate the lives and legacies of civil rights leaders Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy.

Healthy YOU Day

Discover what the Y has to offer at Healthy YOU Day—a FREE, all-day wellness experience designed for younger adults (20s–40s) focused on health, wellness, and connection.

Bring your friends and neighbors to move, connect, and vibe at the Y!

Healthy Kids Day®

Get ready for a day of excitement and adventure! We believe that children who are happy, healthy and engaged are critical to building successful, thriving communities. That’s why this event is so important—it inspires kids and families to stay active in both mind and body throughout the summer months and beyond.

Celebration of Prayer

Our Celebration of Prayer is a unique opportunity for the community to gather together in prayer. As we honor the rich heritage of praying for others that the YMCA was founded on over 175 years ago.

Safety Around Water

As part of National Drowning Prevention Month, the Y offers Safety Around Water, an educational initiative for children, adults, and families.

July

Christian Values Conference (CVC)

For one week each summer, teens from across the United States come together at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly to explore their personal values, share in spiritual fellowship, and develop friendships.

August

Healthy Family Day

Join us on Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at participating family centers for a free event filled with activities for kids, adults and families. Enjoy exclusive offers on youth sports, memberships and other popular programs.

Welcoming Week

At the YMCA, we believe everyone deserves a place to belong. That’s why we’re proud to celebrate Welcoming Week, September 12-21, 2025 across all 14 YMCA of Central Florida locations. The Y is here to be a welcoming place for all new residents in Central Florida who move to our community to grow healthier together.

October

Healthy Seniors Day

Healthy Seniors Day is an FREE community event with in-person activities for the entire family. This year, Healthy Seinor Day will be held on October 8th at each participating family center.

Southwest Orange YMCA Golf Classic

Join us on the links to raise funds supporting the Y scholarship funds at Dr. P. Phillips YMCA and Roper YMCA.

Titsuville YMCA Golf Classic

Come out to the course and help support the Titusville YMCA and our Y scholarship fund.

Frank DeLuca YMCA Turkey Trot

Start your holiday with a 5K or 10K and enjoy special Thanksgiving-themed group exercise classes and activities for the whole family.

Golden Triangle YMCA Turkey Trot

Join the Y and your family, friends, and neighbors for a morning of fun and fitness before you dig into your Thanksgiving feast.

Packing District Jingle Jog 5K Fun Run & Walk

Get ready to celebrate the holiday season at the YMCA’s annual Packing District Jingle Jog 5K Fun Run & Walk! By participating, you’ll not only stay active but also contribute to the YMCA’s impactful work. All fitness levels are welcome, so bring the whole family and enjoy a day filled with fitness, holiday spirit and family-friendly entertainment!

Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday kicks off the giving season. What makes it so special? It’s 100% driven by people inspired to make a difference—people just like you.

Annual Golf Classic

The YMCA of Central Florida Pro-Am Golf Classic is a premier fundraising golf tournament featuring renowned PGA and LPGA players, sponsors, and golfers, coming together to help fuel the YMCA’s most critical program and projects.
