Our
Approach

The Learning Center helps children develop self-confidence and learn to work with others. We provide early childhood education and development in key areas to help children grow up healthy, happy, and strong!

Frog Street Curriculum

At The Learning Center, children will benefit from exciting curriculum that promotes character development, educational enrichment, and physical well-being. Frog Street Curriculum is designed around the latest scientific early brain development research for newborn children to kids ages 5 and older. Our play-based learning philosophy promotes a child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

1 Foster Academic Readiness

Children acquire basic knowledge of themselves, their families, and the world around them.

2 Nurture Social Readiness

Getting along with others, following directions and taking turns. The Y achieves this through character development and values education.

3 Promote Independence

Develop the confidence to complete basic self-help tasks; it builds confidence and self-esteem.

4 Build Communication Skills

Children are able to listen, speak, read and write to express thoughts and feelings.

5 Partner with Parents

Staff partners with parents to promote learning outside of the classroom.
