Be a Part of Something Bigger
Together, we’re helping more than 150,000 people in Central Florida achieve better lives. But we’re not stopping there!
In fact, we consider all 3.5 million Central Floridians—and counting—to be a part of the Y family. One by one, we’re making our communities better places to live, work, and play. When you engage with us in youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility, you’re actively participating in strengthening your community and helping others. As a mission-based nonprofit, the Y exists to serve all in our community. Every age, every ability, every person—all belong and all are welcome, starting with you.

At the Y, we work to strengthen the spirit, mind, and body of everyone in Central Florida by connecting individuals and families with opportunities based on our values.
The YMCA of Central Florida’s core values are Caring, Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Faith. Our values unite us as a movement. They’re the shared beliefs and essential principles that guide our behavior, interactions with each other, and decision-making.
As a Christian nonprofit movement, we strive every day to demonstrate these core values and the Bible verse the YMCA was founded on. John 17:21 encourages us to create unity in our community and show the love of Christ by serving, encouraging, and caring for the needs of our members and neighbors.

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic significantly affected the Y’s ability to continue meeting critical needs across our community. Our neighbors need the Y now more than ever, and we need you now more than ever. Your gift will be invested where it is needed most to help your neighbors through the Y’s aquatic safety programs, out-of-school enrichment programs, and community health programs.
