You Can Be the Difference
Simple acts of kindness can have a large and lasting impact.
When we give our time and expertise, donate food and clothing, or make monetary contributions—both large and small—together, we strengthen our community. The YMCA of Central Florida is participating in Giving Tuesday, a global generosity movement built by individuals, families, organizations, businesses, and communities all around the globe.
Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday kicks off the giving season. This year, Giving Tuesday takes place on December 1. What makes it so special? It’s 100% driven by people inspired to make a positive difference—people just like you. The Y is committed to helping our community build a stronger, healthier, and better us. We hope you’ll consider contributing to the Y. Every gift—no matter how big or small—makes an enduring impact right here in our neighborhood.

Imagine Fund
The YMCA of Central Florida has experienced a decline of over half our revenue, and this crisis threatens the Y’s very ability to sustain vital programs, locations, and services our neighbors and staff rely upon.
Focused on long-term sustainability, the Y established the IMAGINE Fund to raise critical resources necessary to address our immediate financial crisis. The established fund supports unrestricted operational expenses, urgent and pressing financial needs, programs and services, and community outreach efforts in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
Why the Y
The Y was formed in 1844 to serve all of our neighbors and strengthen our community. We work hard to empower everyone through Youth Sports, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.
