Swim Lessons
YMCA Swim lessons emphasize water safety and development of self-esteem in a safe and nurturing environment. In our Central Florida community, it’s vital that all ages feel confident and can have fun in and around water. Choose from group swim lessons or private lessons with certified instructors from an aquatics program that’s taught kids and adults alike how to swim for generations.
YMCA Swim Teams
The YMCA of Central Florida swim teams provide swimmers of all levels with the opportunity to grow their skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. Both our Developmental Swim Team and competitive USA Swim Team emphasize technique, endurance and personal growth in the water.
Drowning Prevention
In Central Florida, where pools, lakes, and beaches are part of everyday life, water safety is essential. Florida consistently ranks among the highest in the nation for drowning deaths among young children—but drowning is preventable. The Y is committed to leading the way through education, awareness, and proven programs that equip families with the skills and knowledge to stay safe in and around the water year-round.
