Stay In-the-know

The safety of all is our first priority.

The YMCA of Central Florida is currently monitoring storms in the counties we serve, and we’ll provide updates on our facilities and programming based on weather conditions. Check this page for updates related to inclement weather when it comes to our facilities, pools, Youth Sports, and swim lessons. Please note: Youth Sports and swim lesson cancellations will be communicated via PlayerSpace.

Tropical Storm Idalia Update

All facilities and programs have, resumed normal operating hours.

Inclement Weather Policy

Our association has trained YMCA team members and lifeguards based on data from the American Meteorological Society. Our policy dictates that we wait 30 minutes from the last time we hear thunder or see lightning to (re)open our pools.

YMCA360

As always, YMCA members have free access to YMCA360, our digital platform complete with fitness, meditation, family activities, and more.
