A Fresh Future for the Golden Triangle YMCA
We’re excited to share that the Golden Triangle YMCA is teaming up with the City of Tavares and Lake County to reimagine this location and the surrounding sports fields to create the Golden Triangle Regional Park – East Campus. Together, we’re creating a vibrant community hub where everyone from kids and teens to adults and seniors can connect, play and thrive.
The updated YMCA will include expanded wellness spaces and new programs for the community. The surrounding sports fields will also be enhanced, giving our community even more opportunities to stay active and engaged. This partnership reflects our shared commitment to strengthening the Golden Triangle area—Tavares, Mount Dora and Eustis—by providing spaces and programs that bring people together and support healthier, happier lives.

1Group Exercise Classes
Enjoy hundreds of expert-led Group Exercise classes for all ages and fitness levels, including Les Mills, Zumba, HIIT, yoga, and cycling. Classes vary by family center.
2Free Weights and Cardio Equipment
Build strength at your own pace with our fully equipped weight room. Our fitness centers are stocked with ellipticals, treadmills, bicycles, stair climbers, stretchers, and more.
3Adult Sports
Stay active and connect with others through seasonal adult recreational leagues, pickup games, and sports workshops. Offerings may include basketball, volleyball, pickleball, racquetball, kickball, and futsal.

Children ages 6 weeks to 11 years who are included on your membership can enjoy up to two hours of complimentary daily drop-in child care. Supervised by certified YMCA staff, the Play Center provides a safe and engaging environment while you enjoy the facility.

Build skills, confidence, and connection through youth sports leagues, academies, and clinics for ages 3–17. Members receive discounted rates on basketball, soccer, volleyball, and more.

When you join the Y, you’re getting more than a typical gym membership. With a variety of classes to choose from throughout the week, everyone can stay active with group exercise. You can also enjoy courts for organized leagues, pick-up games, and more. We have an indoor therapy pool and an outdoor pool available for lap swimming, swim lessons, recreation, too!
Our certified wellness staff is always ready to help you achieve your fitness goals. Personal trainers are available for one-on-one or group sessions. No matter what your personalized plan includes, you’ll grow stronger with the help of the Y!
Y Explorers intentionally fosters holistic youth development through a range of activities centered around helping youth learn valuable skills while having fun! Y Explorers is available for members in grades K–5 and is included in your family membership!
