Grades 6–8

Middle School Day Camps offer exciting activities and choice-based specialty tracks that empower kids to follow their own path.

Offerings in STEM, athletics, digital media, and the arts (painting, music, culinary, dance, drama) ensure that students are having fun while continuing to learn throughout the summer! At the Y, rest assured that whatever track your student engages in, they will have a safe and positive environment to grow and build lasting relationships with their peers.

Stem

Each week, students can choose to participate in exciting labs that may include building race cars, programming robots, developing computer code, or setting off rockets. Come explore the world of science, technology, engineering, and math with the Y!

Athletics

Students learn skills within a variety of sports including: basketball, soccer, football, and other team sports.

Digital Media

Options in this area may include making your own movie, documenting camp events and field trips, digital photography, or producing a camp newsletter.

Culinary Arts

Culinary artists will love designing and preparing the latest recipes in this specialty track. We will also teach them healthy alternatives to common dishes, which they can use during our county wide competition!

Performance & fine arts

Campers will explore their artistic creativity in offerings that could include dance, painting, drama, music, and other artistic areas.

Transition camp

Incoming 6th grade students will get to explore their new school during this week-long event. This fun-filled experience will answer all questions a new sixth grader may have. Please note that not all sites will be running Transition Camps.
