Our family center is located on Longwood Lake Mary Road, between Soldier Creek and Lake Jenna. In 2019, we underwent a $1 million renovation to continue proudly serving more than 15,000 Lake Mary residents through programs that are truly impactful. As a leading nonprofit, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone has a place to learn, grow, and thrive.

Enjoy hundreds of expert-led Group Exercise classes for all ages and fitness levels, including Les Mills, Zumba, HIIT, yoga, and cycling. Classes vary by family center.

2 Free Weights and Cardio Equipment

Build strength at your own pace with our fully equipped weight room. Our fitness centers are stocked with ellipticals, treadmills, bicycles, stair climbers, stretchers, and more.

Family Center Schedule

With a variety of classes to choose from throughout the week, everyone can stay active with group exercise. You can also enjoy courts for organized leagues, pick-up games, and more. We have an outdoor pool available for lap swimming, swim lessons, recreation, too!

Summer Camps

Make this summer one to remember at the J. Douglas Williams Family YMCA! Kids in grades 1-8 can enjoy 10 weeks of full-day themed summer camps filled with games, activities, friendships, and adventure from June 1-August 7. Looking for something more specialized? We also offer half-day Specialty Camps for kids in grades 1-5. Flexible options, extended hours, and a safe, supportive environment make the Y the perfect place for summer fun.

Developmental Swim Team

The Developmental Swim Team provides an entry-level swim team experience. Swim meets and other events are offered, and participation is optional, so you can choose the experience best for you!

Youth Sports

Help your child stay active, build confidence, and make lasting friendships through Youth Sports at the J. Douglas Williams YMCA. Led by Sports Director China Davis and Sports Coordinator Katelin Starr, our thriving recreational sports program offers five league seasons each year for basketball (ages 3-17), volleyball (ages 9-17), and soccer (ages 3–8). Our co-ed leagues focus on skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun in a supportive environment. Explore upcoming seasons and register today!

Parents’ Night Out

Kids ages 5-12 are invited to join us at the J. Douglas Williams YMCA in Lake Mary, FL, for our monthly Parents’ Night Out events! Children will enjoy games, crafts, activities, dinner, and a movie while making new friends in a safe, supervised environment. It’s the perfect chance for parents to enjoy a few hours to themselves. Open to the community. No YMCA membership required.
