Dear Y Family,
Thank you for staying with the Y as we've journeyed through the summer together and now approach what will be a very different back-to-school season. Rest assured, Y staff are continuing to develop ways to keep your kids safe and active!
Below, you can learn more about some of the new ways you and your family can stay healthy and experience the Y with our new website, get more nutrition tips as we transition from summer to fall, and learn new ways we will deliver Youth Sports and Aquatic programs.
We know the need has never been greater to make sure that we all stay safe. Thanks to your faithful support, the Y will continue to be here, doing all we can to meet the needs of our community and help you grow stronger in spirit, mind, and body.
In Service,

MEETING COMMUNITY NEEDS
The YMCA of Central Florida remains dedicated to supporting the youth in our community, especially as back-to-school season approaches. In collaboration with the Pine Hills Neighborhood Center for Families, and funded by Orange County, 15 volunteers at the Wayne Densch YMCA Family Center handed out 260 backpacks to elementary, middle, and high school students in the community.
Free Food Distribution
Thanks to our partners at Simply Fresh foods and our volunteers and staff, the Y will hand out a total of 2,880 prepackaged boxes of fresh vegetables and fruits from Florida farmers for free to neighbors in need at the South Orlando YMCA and the Wayne Densch YMCAÂ later this month!
WE'RE STRONGER TOGETHER
As a nonprofit organization, the YMCA of Central Florida relies heavily on the support of donors, members, volunteers and partners to continue to provide our life-changing programs and services. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, your Y is in critical need of support.
If you are able, we ask that you please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Y.
Together, we are stronger—give today!
