YMCA of Central Florida Welcomes Two New Chief Executives to its Leadership Team

(Orlando, Florida) -- The YMCA of Central Florida, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community, is pleased to welcome two new chief executives to its leadership team.

Cathy Paez

Cathy Paez has been named the organization's new Chief Financial Officer. Cathy brings over 25 years of corporate finance experience with the last 17 years at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW). Cathy has extensive experience in strategic planning and analysis, capital planning and optimization, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. Before MVW, Cathy spent nine years at AT&T and Warner-Lambert/Pfizer.

"Cathy is a strong leader who has developed various finance teams through transparent communication, specific and achievable goals and objectives, and cross-functional training," said YMCA of Central Florida President & CEO Kevin Bolding. "We are confident that her knowledge and experience will help our association continue to grow stronger financially in this post-pandemic world."

Cathy holds an MBA and BS in Management. She is an avid runner and lived in New York and New Jersey before settling in Orlando.

The YMCA of Central Florida also welcomes its new Chief Development Officer, Rachel Meuser Bowman. Rachel comes to Orlando from the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, where she served for the past 14 years as Chief Advancement Officer.

In her most recent role, Rachel oversaw and directed the philanthropic efforts of the association across a seven-county service area. Additionally, she led communications, marketing, and community and education outreach efforts.

"Rachel is passionate about connecting donors with opportunities to make a difference and encouraging a culture of philanthropy that spans generations," said Kevin Bolding, YMCA of Central Florida President & CEO. "Rachel’s efforts for the Y have successfully connected more than $26.5 million to YMCA programs and initiatives, and we know she will use her experience to continue that impact here in our community."

Before the YMCA, Rachel served in annual fund leadership roles at The Citadel Foundation and at Franklin University Switzerland in Lugano, Switzerland.
