ORLANDO, Fla. – The YMCA of Central Florida will thank over 1,000 donors on Sunday, November 1 at 7:00 p.m. at its annual celebration event during the Orlando Museum of Arts’ Festival of Trees holiday display.
Over the past year, more than 6,600 donors gave more than $4.2 million to provide 31,500 kids, families and adults access to Y facilities, programs and resources in a safe, secure environment. Of these funds, over $2 million were raised through the YMCA Annual Support Campaign, established to ensure accessibility to all and support neighbors in need right in our own Central Florida communities.
The Y is a diverse organization of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to strengthening communities. Its donors
play a vital role in helping the Y ensure a wide variety of experiences, perspectives, incomes, ages, backgrounds and cultures are welcome every day at Y family centers. The generosity of the Y’s donors enables the organization to provide a place where everyone can get healthy and stay confident, connected and secure.
