Prayer Brings People Together

At the Y, we are determined to stand by our mission to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.  That’s why we bring the community together so that we can bring about lasting and personal change. United, we advance our mission to improve all lives in Central Florida.   Join us as we bring the Brevard community together for our 8th annual Brevard County Prayer Breakfast on March 9. We will be hearing from our special guest speaker, Gerald P. Carr. As a NASA Astronaut, Carr gained a unique outlook of faith while orbiting the earth over 84 days.   Carr is a retired United States Marine Corps colonel and former NASA astronaut. He was commander of Skylab-4 the third and final manned visit to the Skylab Orbital Workshop, from November 16, 1973 to February 8, 1978. Carr and his four Skylab teammates shared the world record for individual time in space. He has logged more than 8,000 flying hours during his military career.   Be encouraged and uplifted by your community.   Join us.
