What happens when the YMCA and professional soccer come together to create bigger opportunities for kids?
For Episode 10 of First Friday Conversations, I sit down with Jarrod Dillon, YMCA Member & President of Orlando City SC, Orlando Pride, and Inter.co Stadium, for a behind-the-scenes conversation inside the Orlando City locker room.
We discuss how the Lions Pride Jr. Soccer League is connecting kids and families to professional sports while helping build confidence, healthy habits, and community.
“I think that’s truly how we will measure the partnership, how many lives we’re impacting together.”
— Jarrod Dillon, Orlando City Soccer
Hear how our youth sports partnership goes far beyond the pitch, from giving YMCA athletes access to professional matches and the opportunity to walk out of the tunnel with pro players, to wearing Orlando City and Pride jerseys.
Whether your child is already part of our Lions Pride Jr. soccer league or you’re curious about getting involved, participating in YMCA Youth Sports can make a lasting difference.
With more than 2,000 Lions Pride Jr. soccer participants and over 150 dedicated volunteer coaches, the YMCA is proud to deliver programs with premier partners that truly move our community forward.
Until next time…
