YMCA of Central Florida and SW Orlando Jaycees Host 24th Annual MLK Prayer Breakfast
The YMCA of Central Florida, in partnership with the SW Orlando Jaycees, proudly presents the 24th Annual Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy Martin Luther King, Jr. Prayer Breakfast in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event will take place on January 19, 2015, at 7:45 a.m., bringing the community together for inspiration, reflection, and fellowship.
This year’s featured guest speaker is Chaplain Barry Black, the 62nd Chaplain of the United States Senate. Chaplain Black served more than 27 years as a chaplain in the United States Navy, rising to the rank of Rear Admiral and concluding his distinguished military career as the Chief of Chaplains of the U.S. Navy.
Attendees will also enjoy special musical entertainment by Sisaundra Lewis, acclaimed singer and finalist on NBC’s “The Voice.” Her powerful performance will add a memorable and uplifting element to this meaningful MLK Day prayer breakfast.
