The YMCA Celebration of Prayer is a cherished Holy Week tradition that highlights the YMCA’s Christian heritage and the mission that has shaped our organization for more than 150 years. This annual community gathering offers a meaningful opportunity for reflection, inspiration, and unity as we prepare for the Easter season.
This year’s keynote speaker is Lucas Boyce—a former foster child and proud “Y Kid” who triumphed over significant adversity to earn a college degree, serve in the White House Office of Public Affairs, and rise to become a highly respected young executive in the NBA. His powerful story of perseverance and faith promises to inspire all who attend.
Hosted at First Baptist Church of Orlando (Faith Hall), this special breakfast brings together individuals of all faiths and backgrounds to share in prayer and community. The event is open to everyone, and we invite the entire Central Florida community to join us for this uplifting Holy Week tradition.
