Jocelyn Boyd is the Executive Director of the South Orlando YMCA and Wayne Densch YMCA). Originally from Detroit, Jocelyn enjoys sports and played Division I Basketball on a full athletic scholarship. She first became involved with the YMCA as a volunteer and joined the organization in 2003 as Director of the Achievers program. Since then, Jocelyn has served in many roles, including Site Director, Operations Director, Executive Director, and District Executive Director.
While Jocelyn has made many contributions to the Y, she is most proud of her work helping to build the first school/community-based garden in the State of Florida, a project that was recognized as the “Best Community Garden” by the state’s Department of Agriculture. Jocelyn is also a past recipient of the Shirley B. Ritter Award.
