As Chief Mission & Brand Advancement Officer for the YMCA of Central Florida, Daniel Saginario leads the nonprofit’s efforts to engage underserved communities, develop partnerships, grow volunteerism, empower advocates, strengthen philanthropy, and amplify the Y’s story of impact. He brings nearly 30 years of professional leadership experience in marketing & communications, brand management, special events, and strategic partnerships from Darden, Universal Orlando Resort, and HSN before joining the Y five years ago as Vice President of Brand & Cause Advocacy.
Under Daniel’s leadership at the Y, the marketing, content, and communication efforts were centralized, modernized, and amplified to reach and engage the fast-growing six-county Central Florida region served by the Y. Daniel is also actively leading efforts across the state of Florida to grow the Y’s collective impact, serving as Chair of the Strategic Marketing Task Force, Chair of the Marketing Advocacy Task Force, and Co-Chair of the YMCA Marketing Peer Community Professional Network for the Florida State Alliance of YMCAs.
Daniel grew up as a Y kid playing soccer at the Downtown Y. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from UCF and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Daniel and his wife have four children and live on a small farm in Oviedo along with their two golden retrievers and heard of mini cows.
