Welcoming Week is a national celebration of the growing movement of inclusive communities that fully embrace immigrants and their contributions to the social fabric of our country!

Created by YMCA of the USA’s (Y-USA) national partner Welcoming America, Welcoming Week brings together immigrants and US-born residents at community-based and virtual events. These events foster cross-cultural understanding and help to raise awareness of the benefits of welcoming everyone.

We invite you to participate in Welcoming Week with the following activities, events, and much more!

• National Virtual Kickoff Event | September 12 from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
  • Join Welcoming America for the start of Welcoming Week with inspiring messages, stories, music, dance performances, and more!

  • Enjoy community bridge building activities hosted by YMCA of Metro Milwaukee and Goodwill.
