Grades 6–8
Our Middle School Day Camps are designed specifically for rising 6th–8th graders who are ready for more independence, bigger challenges, and next-level fun.
From our unique Leaders in Training (LIT) program to specialty-themed camps like Jr. Lifeguard and Intro to Water Polo, each YMCA Family Center offers engaging, age-appropriate experiences that keep middle schoolers active, connected, and inspired all summer long. Campers enjoy access to classic YMCA amenities, hands-on activities, team-building opportunities, and plenty of moments to set and achieve their own #SummerGoals.
At the Y, middle schoolers don’t just stay busy. They build confidence, discover new interests, strengthen friendships, and develop skills that carry with them long after summer ends.
Useful Info

What should campers wear to camp?
Campers should wear comfortable clothing that’s okay to get messy, and closed-toe shoes.
