YMCA of Central Florida Announces Charlie Egerton Elected 2014 Annual Campaign Chair

ORLANDO, FL – (December 11, 2013) -- The YMCA of Central Florida announces Charlie Egerton, a founding shareholder at the law firm of Dean Mead Egerton Bloodworth Capuano & Bozarth PA, as the organization’s 2014 Annual Campaign Chair of the YMCA of Central Florida. He will serve as the lead volunteer among 3800+ volunteers, who in 2013, raised $3.1 for youth and family scholarships.

Egerton has been involved with the YMCA of Central Florida for more than 30 years. He has been a YMCA member since 1981, and has served as both Board Chair and Scholarship Chair of the Downtown YMCA, and also served in the Scholarship Campaign of the Crosby YMCA.

“No other organization impacts entire families in this community like the YMCA does,” said Egerton. “I am proud to be in the position to raise scholarships for area families who need the Y for early childhood development care, afterschool educational and health support, and for prevention-based wellness programs for people of all ages, incomes and abilities.”

He has been named an Outstanding Tax Attorney in The Best Lawyers in America® for over 25 years, and is the past chair of the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation, the nation’s largest organization of tax lawyers.
