Tom Verzi proudly serves as the Executive Director for the Winter Park YMCA. Originally born in Washington D.C. and raised in Texas, Tom is also the oldest of seven brothers and sisters. Starting as a volunteer coach at the Dr. P. Phillips YMCA, Tom began his Y career over six years ago as a Membership Director, moving on to Operations Director before his current role.
Throughout his career, Tom's proudest accomplishment has been mentoring local youth as a volunteer coach and supporting the impact of our scholarship program, providing programs and services to neighbors in need who would otherwise not be able to participate. His motivation derives from seeing the impact across our six-county reach, making a difference in people's lives each day.
Tom is a proud father of three, including boy/girl twins and a second son, and while not working at the Family Center, he enjoys curating his interests in fishing, finance, and golf.
