YMCA of Central Florida celebrates good health in Kissimmee Kissimmee, FL - True to its purpose of celebrating health and improving the quality of life for all residents in Central Florida, the YMCA of Osceola invites the public to participate in the events during the month of March. These events will take place at the newly renovated facility of the Y, located at #2117 Mabbette St. in Kissimmee. On Saturday March 24, there will be a “Super Saturday Workout” A Mini Triathlon will take place to promote physical fitness and will start at 6:30 am. “We want them to visit us, learn about the Y, and enjoy the benefits of being part of our family,” says Mariana González, Doctor and Director of Health and Welfare for the YMCA. With the new Y in Osceola, people can count on spaces where people of all ages can entertain themselves and exercise at the same time with a new, fully equipped gymnasium, swimming pool with water heater, playground for children, a “Wellness” Center with cardiovascular equipment and free weights, rooms for aerobics and “Spinning”, a center for development and care for children, and sports programs for youth and adults among others to promote the development of the spirit, mind and body with the aim of improving the quality of life for Hispanics. The YMCA celebrates good health year-round with an itinerary of activities aimed at improving the quality of life among those involved. Shortly, they will be announcing the activities related to the opening of the new facility. “When you join the YMCA family, you are part of our family, and that has its privileges” said, Mariana González. As part of the celebration for the new Y in Osceola, you can obtain a free pass for two days to enjoy the new facilities in the family center which are open Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturdays until 4:00 pm.
