STRONG Challenge: Facebook Live Yoga + Tai Chi + Pilates Group Ex Class

Enjoy a virtual Yoga + Tai Chi + Pilates group ex class with one of our YMCA staff members!
Part of the STRONG Challenge Week 6 activities includes group ex classes via Facebook Live! We welcome YMCA members from all of our family center locations to participate. This class is great for active older adults!
Yoga
This class will focus on the most common yoga postures, breathing techniques, stretching, toning, and relaxation. Enjoy a few standing and balancing poses followed by floor stretches and guided relaxation.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a meditative exercise based on Taoist philosophy and other centuries-old Chinese principles of health, spirituality, and self-defense. Its natural, relaxed movements promote inner calm and improve self-awareness, balance, and coordination. Tai Chi is suitable for all skill levels.
Pilates
A form of exercise that emphasizes the balanced development through core strength, flexibility, and awareness to support efficient, easy movement through Meditation, core, body, and flow of movements.
