August Challenge: Dead Hang

DETAILS:

How long can you hold on? Test your grip strength, shoulder endurance, and mental toughness in the Dead Hang Challenge! Participants will hang from a pull-up bar using an overhand grip with arms fully extended and feet completely off the ground. The goal is to hold the position for as long as possible while maintaining proper form.
The timer begins when both feet leave the ground and ends when a participant releases their grip, touches the floor, removes one or both hands from the bar, or begins excessive swinging. No swinging, kipping, or momentum is allowed.
Participants with current shoulder, elbow, wrist, or hand injuries should not participate. Wellness Staff will supervise and time all attempts.
