YMCA Partners with Florida Hospital and NBA FIT to Host Youth Basketball Clinic
The YMCA of Central Florida partnered with NBA FIT, Florida Hospital for Children and the American College of Sports Medicine to host a basketball fitness and nutrition clinic at the South Orlando YMCA on Wednesday, May 28, 2014.
During the event, NBA FIT instructors led more than 150 Central Florida children through basketball fitness drills, and obstacle courses by NBA FIT staff. Florida Hospital for Children’s Healthy 100 Kids program representatives provided information on the importance of nutrition and exercise to the children and their parents.
