For Ages 13–17 Years

Our teen swim lessons are designed to meet the needs of all swimmers, whether they are just starting out or looking to refine their stroke techniques.

Following the national YMCA of the USA swimming curriculum, teens are grouped based on their skill level and developmental progress to ensure a supportive learning environment.

In our program, teens will:

  • Begin with underwater exploration to become comfortable in the water and learn safe water exit techniques in case of accidental entry.
  • Progress to developing body control, forward movement, and directional changes in the water.
  • Build on the fundamentals by learning advanced water safety skills and mastering swimming strokes.

These lessons not only teach essential water safety and swimming skills but also promote physical fitness, emotional well-being, and cognitive development, encouraging a lifetime of healthy activity.

1 Lesson per Week: Our 4-lesson packages are designed for families who can only attend one lesson per week. Progression may take longer as it’s based on skill mastery rather than lesson frequency.
