Our family center is located on Red Bug Lake Road next to the AdventHealth Centra Care (Oviedo) office, and around the corner from the Oviedo Mall. We’re an essential part of the community to some members, whether it’s children in our Youth Sports program, families getting fresh produce at our weekly Farmer’s Market, or seniors staying active in the Silver Sneakers program. As a leading nonprofit, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone has a place to learn, grow, and thrive.

The Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy Scholarship is now accepting applications from BIPOC high school seniors in Central Florida. Students with a GPA of 2.5 or higher who demonstrate leadership, community service, and academic success are eligible for up to $2,000. Recipients will be honored at the Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy Prayer Breakfast on Jan. 20, 2025.
Almost two years ago, my daughter questioned Santa’s magic, marking the end of an era for us. Now, with Halloween, another milestone looms. As kids grow older, the desire to play fades.
