Join us for our monthly Developmental Swim Team Meet at the Winter Park YMCA on Saturday, February 14, at 2:00 PM. Families who are curious about swim team are encouraged to attend, cheer on our swimmers, meet our coaches, and learn more about YMCA swim team opportunities.

Free Swim Team Assessments
Immediately following the meet (beginning around 3:00 PM), YMCA swim coaches will offer free swim team assessments for youth interested in developmental or competitive swim team programs.

Assessment Details:

• Ages: 6–17
• Who Can Attend: Open to participants from any YMCA of Central Florida location
• What’s Included:
  • Brief in-water evaluation with a YMCA swim coach
  • Review of current swim skills and readiness
  • Personalized recommendations for next steps, including developmental swim team, competitive swim team, or swim lessons

If your preferred YMCA family center does not currently offer a swim team, our coaches will help guide you to the best available option based on your child’s assessment.
