Families with students in Kindergarten through grade 12 can get free backpacks with school supplies!

Hopefest is a free and fun event open to the entire community! This event will help children and their parents prepare for the upcoming school year. Participants will receive backpacks with school supplies to help them get started in elementary, middle, or high school. The event will also consist of other fun activities like free haircuts, prize giveaways, games and music, and additional parental resources.

Support HopeFest with Donations

Now through Friday, July 22, we need your support to help families in need with school supplies to start the school year off right. Please consider donating school supplies for our Hopefest Back to School Celebrations at the South Orlando or Wayne Densch Y’s on Saturday, July 30. Donations can be made via our Amazon wish list to be shipped directly to the Y. We also invite you to volunteer for our community distribution on the day of the event. Thank you for your support!
