Join us for this year’s Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy Prayer Breakfast event!

Hosted by the YMCA of Central Florida, the Southwest Orlando Jaycees, and the City of Orlando’s Martin Luther King Commission, the annual event commemorates the legacies of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as well as Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy, Orlando’s first African American City Council Member. Held each year on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, this event brings together civic leaders, pastors, and Central Florida neighbors in the shared commitment to strengthen our community and improve lives.

This year, our keynote speaker will be Dr. Vikki Johnson, granddaughter of Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy, a transformational speaker, chaplain, spiritual wellness practitioner, best-selling author of 12 books, and the founder of Soul Wealth LLC.
