Together | Stronger | Forward
Strong community support. Solid operating fundamentals. An unrelenting focus on mission-driven growth to improve the lives of all in spirit, mind, and body.
Setting the Stage for Greater Impact
We made significant strides in 2024. Thanks to the commitment of community partners and donors, we were able to expand our impact as we served more kids and families in Y Summer Camp, enhanced literacy efforts during Healthy Kids Day events, and offered “pre-hab” services for cancer patients before and during their treatments.
Our partnerships were pivotal to our progress. We’ve envisioned an expanded presence in Lake County, repurposed unused land in Orange County, reinvested in our facilities, and restructured our financial backing to better align with our needs and goals.
We consider it a privilege and a responsibility to serve our community, but we can’t do it alone. We need you to help open doors and share the good work of the Y with others. We invite you to join us as volunteers, donors, partners, and advocates.
Together. Stronger. Forward.

In 2024, the Y introduced three new community events inspired by Healthy Kids Day. Offered free of charge, these quarterly events focus on celebrating health within specific audiences: healthy adults, healthy kids, healthy families, and healthy seniors.

Safety Around Water
No matter the age, swimming is a vital skill. The YMCA’s Safety Around Water (SAW) programs aim to eliminate drowning through basic swim skills through community partnerships with schools, recreation departments, and other organizations.
The Y’s size and reach uniquely positions the organization to bridge the gap in the delivery of water safety education across Central Florida.
Lifesaving Swim Lessons
Investing in Future Leaders
Thirteen scholarships were awarded to local Central Florida high school students through the Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy Prayer Breakfast, which the Y hosts annually in partnership with the City of Orlando’s MLK Commission, the Southwest Orlando Jaycees, and the Kennedy family.
These inspiring students excel in academics, leadership, and community service, overcoming financial barriers in pursuit of higher education. They’re already shaping their own futures.
