Y Beyond the Walls: Serving Where Our Community Gathers

The YMCA is proud to bring the spirit of community and youth development beyond our family center walls through “Y Beyond the Walls” — our commitment to meeting families where they are. In Horizon West, we’re partnering with Horizon High School and Crossline Park to offer dynamic, values-driven youth sports programs in basketball, volleyball and soccer.

Though we don’t have a traditional YMCA building in this area, this location is every bit a part of our YMCA family. It’s a place where youth can build confidence, teamwork and lifelong friendships — all while staying active and having fun. At the Y, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. By expanding into Horizon West, we’re creating accessible spaces for all to play and grow — helping kids become their best selves through the power of sport and community.

Jr. Magic Basketball League

The Y is teaming up with the Orlando Magic to bring a Jr. Magic Basketball League to Horizon High School.

Youth Basketball Academy

The Y is bringing the heat to Horizon High School with Youth Basketball Academy —featuring elite skills & drills with Coach Nate!

Summer offering:

Basketball: practice day is Wednesday between 5:00-7:00 PM @ Horizon High School, games to be played on Saturdays between 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. An Orlando Magic ticket is included with the registration.

Ways to register:

• Online registration, payment request sent to account holder, or sign up at your nearest YMCA location.
• New participants will need to create an account with the enrollee information.
