Homemade Guacamole

Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- Kosher salt and pepper to taste
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 lime, zested
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- ¼ cup cilantro, chopped
- Pinch of red pepper flakes or 1 Jalapeño, chopped
- ½ plum tomato, chopped
- ⅓ cup onion, finely chopped
Directions

Cut avocado
Cut around each avocado lengthwise, then twist the two halves apart.

Scoop into bowl
Carefully, remove the pit and scoop the avocado flesh into a bowl.

Mash avocado
Using the back of a fork mash into a coarse purée.

Season
Season with salt and pepper.

Mix
Mix in the lime zest, lime juice, cilantro, pepper flakes, tomato, and onion.
