Child at YMCA Emergency Childcare

Supporting Essential Employees

While the schools in our six-county service area closed and provided distance learning to students, many parents and guardians still working needed childcare as they continued to serve every day. So, the Y repurposed our facilities to provide emergency childcare for these families at no cost.

As an established childcare provider, the Y will always be a safe place for parents to trust their kids are taken care of. With certified, trained staff and dedicated healthcare workers providing on-site screenings, we worked hard to resolve this need for local essential workers.
