“Yogurt” Parfait with Berry Jam
Tools You'll Need
- Measuring cups
- Measuring spoons
- Large mixing bowl
- Medium mixing bowl
- ½ cup mascarpone cheese
- ¾ cup crème fraiche
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 4 ounces raspberries
- ¼ cup slivered almonds
- ¼ cup walnuts, chopped
- ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, optional
In a large mixing bowl whisk together the mascarpone, crème Fraiche, and honey until smooth and set aside.
In another bowl, smash the berries with the back of a spoon and set them aside.
Combine nuts and seeds
Combine all the nuts and seed in a third bowl.
Using a dessert cup, small bowl, or stemless wineglass, layer the mixtures. Begin with “yogurt,” then “jam,” add with a little more “yogurt” followed by nuts, and finally top with cinnamon (if using).
Serve or refrigerate
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to eat and enjoy.
