Get back to the basics and try something new with the Y’s range of options to build muscle and grow stronger! Use our state-of-the-art equipment and learn from our expert instructors to grow stronger and get fit.

Each class may not be available at every family center. Please check your family center’s schedule to see what’s offered at your YMCA!

Basic Fitness
Introduction to fitness, this class includes a proper warm-up, corrective exercises, and flexibility, and stretching—all components necessary to begin an exercise routine.

Body Blast
A full-body workout using weight plates, barbells, resistance bands, and steps combined with bodyweight exercises to create compound and isolation exercises to get you lean, toned, and fit.

Bootcamp
Experience high-intensity, full-body workouts that target the major muscle groups of the upper and lower body. From circuit-style routines to creative muscle-toning exercises, each class brings its own unique challenges.

Circuit
Strength and cardio exercise put together in a format using stations.

Circuit Strength
A fast-paced class where you’re divided into small groups, completing a series of exercises for 30- to 90-second intervals. There are multiple stations that combine functional resistance and cardiovascular training to give you a full-body workout—the perfect combination for strengthening your heart and muscles.

Express Conditioning
By training with free-weights, resistance-bands, and body-weight this workout will give you an exciting range of strengthening, balance, and core exercises while improving cardiovascular health.

Kickboxing
This martial arts-inspired class is a high energy workout that will challenge the beginner and the athlete alike. Build stamina, cardiovascular health, improve coordination, and flexibility.

Kinesis
Creates a unique functional training space allowing users to focus on their individual training ability while training in a small group and having fun in a motivating atmosphere.

Muscle Conditioning
This strength and conditioning class includes aerobic, body-weight, and weight lifting exercises.

P90X
The hugely successful home-based program now has a studio-based workout class format! A trained instructor certified in the P90X format will lead you through different workouts that use resistance and bodyweight training, cardio, plyometrics, ab work, martial arts, yoga, and more.

Pound
A full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising.

RIPPED
A fitness program that encompasses all aspects of physical fitness, in which RIPPED is an acronym for Resistance, Interval, Power, Plyometrics, Endurance, and Diet.

Sculpt & Stretch
This class combines the traditional body sculpting methods using free weights, resistance bands, and your own body. You’ll also stretch your entire body with learned breathing techniques.

Self Defense
Join us in learning self defense by improving self-awareness, safety strategies, and techniques.

Strength Training
Build your strength with resistance exercises. The class will incorporate traditional weight-room exercises and compound exercises using weighted bars and dumbbells to challenge you.

Super Set
These classes involve strength and cardio training exercises done in two or three different activities to make up a set. Exercises such as running, jumping, and stepping may be combined with strength exercises using your body weight, dumbbells, body bars, medicine balls, and steps.

Total Body Conditioning
This class is an aerobic and strength conditioning workout class. This class includes circuit training, cardio exercise, bodyweight exercises, and finishes with core training and stretching for a complete workout.

Weights
Improve the strength of your heart and body in this combination class. Challenge your strength through traditional free-weight exercises and get your heart pumping with cardio drills that will increase your fitness level and change the shape of your body.

Y-Fit
This is a class created by a personal trainer to give you a full-body workout incorporating interval training and strength exercises. Using the Omnia/Kinesis machines, this class is full of creative new challenges. With a personal trainer as your coach, there are plenty of modifications to either simplify or amp up the movements to maximize results!
