Serving Our Neighbors and Creating a Stronger Community

It takes many caring people, working side-by-side at the Y, to build a better Central Florida. Our Leadership Team actively collaborates with fellow Y staff and a diverse group of dedicated volunteers, donors, board members, community partners, and committee members. This collaboration helps our entire YMCA of Central Florida Association create a positive and lasting impact.

I genuinely believe we’re put on this planet to make it better before our time is out. The Y affords me the unique opportunity to align what I believe is my purpose with what I believe is a desperate need to invest in healthy, strong, and cohesive neighborhoods.

Rachel Bowman, Chief Development Officer

Rachel comes to Orlando from the YMCA of Coastal Georgia, where she served for the past 14 years as Chief Advancement Officer.

In her most recent role, Rachel oversaw and directed the philanthropic efforts of the association across a seven-county service area. Additionally, she led communications, marketing, and community and education outreach efforts.

“Rachel is passionate about connecting donors with opportunities to make a difference and encouraging a culture of philanthropy that spans generations,” said Kevin Bolding, YMCA of Central Florida President & CEO. “Rachel’s efforts for the Y have successfully connected more than $26.5 million to YMCA programs and initiatives, and we know she will use her experience to continue that impact here in our community.”

Before the YMCA, Rachel served in annual fund leadership roles at The Citadel Foundation and at Franklin University Switzerland in Lugano, Switzerland.

Daniel Saginario, Chief Mission & Brand Advancement Officer

As Chief Mission & Brand Advancement Officer for the YMCA of Central Florida, Daniel Saginario leads the nonprofit’s efforts to advance and amplify the Y’s mission through marketing communications, sales, partnerships, and technology. He brings over 30 years of professional leadership experience in marketing & communications, brand management, special events, and strategic partnerships from Darden, Universal Orlando Resort, and HSN before joining the Y in 2016 as Vice President of Brand & Cause Advocacy.

Under Daniel’s leadership at the Y, the marketing, content, and communication efforts were centralized, modernized, and amplified to reach and engage the fast-growing six-county Central Florida region served by the Y. Daniel is also actively leading efforts across the state of Florida and across the US to grow the Y’s collective impact, serving on the Strategic Marketing Task Force for the FL State Alliance of YMCAs and on the Executive CMO Planning Committee for the YMCAs across the US.

Daniel grew up as a Y kid playing soccer at the Downtown Y. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from UCF and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Florida. Daniel and his wife have four children and live on a small farm in Oviedo along with their two golden retrievers and heard of mini cows.
