The Y’s new Virtual Weight Loss program is designed to help people seeking a healthier weight achieve their goals by making small, modest changes to their daily behaviors as opposed to advocating any specific or restrictive short-term solution. This helps participants build skills for lasting, successful lifestyle habits. Participants joining the program should be ready to commit to daily food and physical activity tracking as well as developing self-designed action plans. Since weight loss is unique to each person, our program focuses on helping individuals find ways to make changes within the context of their own lives and in support of their personal goals. *

What to Expect
Each week, participants will weigh-in privately, and then come together with up to 15 other group members to develop goals for the upcoming week. The group will discuss balanced eating, physical activity, creating a psychologically positive environment, and how to sustain goals.
