Ages 6 months – 3 years
In Swim Starters, infants and toddlers are accompanied by their parents as they learn to be comfortable in the water.
The focus of this class for children will be to develop swim readiness skills through fun, confidence-building experiences. Parents will also be taught about water safety, drowning prevention, and the importance of supervision. To maximize safety, lifeguards are always on the pool deck during lessons.

Our Swim Starters lessons encompass stages A-B of the YMCA swimming curriculum. The student’s developmental levels determine which skills we introduce and build on as they progress.
