North Brevard County Prayer Breakfast
Scholarships are awarded on behalf of the YMCA of Central Florida and the Southwest Orlando Jaycees. Recipients must be available for award presentation on Monday, January 20, 2025.
Multiple scholarships, including one $1,500 Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy Scholarship donated by the Arthur “Pappy” Kennedy family, are given to a deserving BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) high school students in celebration of his legacy and dedication to his community.
Applications will open the first week of September and close on Friday, November 8, 2025.

Applications are open and will be closed on Friday, November 8, 2025. Scholarship winners will be announced the last week of November.

Video Taping: Week of December 4
Award Presentation (must be present): January 20, 2026
The scholarship(s) will be disbursed no later than October 2025 after receiving verification documentation that students are enrolled into their college/university of choice.
